Mano's is the best Portuguese restaurant in north central London's own little Lisbon (Kensal Green). Excellent piri-piri chicken is grilled over a huge charcoal brazier as is octopus, lamb cutlets, pork and perfectly cooked steaks. The mixed grill includes every known cut of pig, chicken and cow.
In addition it is run by a really welcoming couple and is very reasonably priced.
I've never tried their puddings but I know they do some interesting Portuguese jellies.
The place is a paper serviette and table cloth joint which just adds to the simplicity and authentic feel of the restaurant.
